♥ Style Guide : "Spring Rares!" ♥

♥ Hey Darlies I am back with another Thursday blogpost and today I am talking about the ever so infamous "Rare Week". So as most of you know already today was the 2016 "Spring Rare Week" so as I do I have chosen bits a bobs and made a little style guide for my Thursday blog post.

♥What Are Rares ?
For those of you who don't know rares are items that used to be in the shop but MSP removed them somewhere along the line. These items are pretty old and have a distinct look to them. Lots of user on moviestarplanet do rare trading or rare giveaway ( BUT BEWARE OF SCAMMERS ) . They are a pretty big deal and I guess people like them and thats why MSP brings them back for 7 days each year.

♥Anyway this weeks themes ( that was released on the 7th of April 2016 ) actually had a much better selection of rares then I though it would have. I was expecting the same old same old "heart tattoos" and that "ballerina dress" but I was happily surprised to find some good ones like "Chick Slippers" ( or better known as "Duckies" ) and Classic "princess toes". Speaking of witch you should have seen my face when I saw duckies they are literally the most adorable thing that has ever been sold in the MSP store , I assume thats why everyone goes rare crazy when people are offering them up XD.  Anyway evebnthough I am not such a huge rare week person I was honestly impressed.

♥Top 3 favourite Items :

♥Chick Slippers ( Duckies ) ♥
As I said earlier these are just adorable
don't you just want a pair of these IRL.
Like I am just so happy I could score a
couple pairs of these because
non-glitched duckies seem hard to come
by.

♥Cute Frills♥
the reason I like these is because I feel
like this particular item could go with some
of the newer MSP items.  Rares have a pretty
diffrent design compared to the newer MSP
clothing so I find a lot of the time its hard
to piece them together but with this skirt it
just kind of works. 

♥Stripey♥
This is another one of those items
people just seem to go crazy about and
I can kind of understand why. I really
like the kind of knee high
sock/leg warmer vibe this item
gives off and it also works with some
of the newer items too. 

♥Some Look Ideas For This Theme ?♥

♥Modern Beauty♥
I am pretty pleased with
this look its pretty cheap and
I think it has a super cute retro
vibe to it. 

♥Rising Rare♥
This look is totally non-vip so
any girl with a couple SC can
 buy it. I think the colours are
super fun ( feel free to chage
them ) and it looks pretty good
overall. Also there are little
duckies at her feet how does
anything get cuter xD.

Each and everyone of you has gotten involved with the activities and events and thats amazing ♥ I know our squad will grow even bigger as time goes on but I just wanted to say thank you ♥

♥︎Top Tips For : Creating Movies ♥︎

♥︎Hey guys its Cutedarleck and one of you requested for me to do a tutorial on how to make better movies. Keep in mind some of these things you might already know but I am simply adding them in here because I don't see enough people doing them. Its really unfortunate when you can tell someone has spent a lot of time thinking about the plot line but does not convey the story line in the right way because they are new to the movie creating tool. So I hope I can be some help.

♥︎Tip Number .1.
Make sure you add a relevant background. Why I say this is because its so strange when you are watching a movie about I don't know pixie or something and they are having the "annual pixie tribe meeting" in the middle of the school hallway ( True Story ). I feel like the reason for this most of the time is because most people when they start making movies don't have any other backgrounds but the default ones and look thats okay but because the default ones are seen as "Noobalicous" most people will not see it as eye catching and interesting. So its time to get a background.

Every time I tell someone this they always say "but I am saving my money" or "I don't have any money" or "can you send me a greet I am like broke". Excuses , excuses. Now I know its not the easiest thing to earn money when your maybe a lower level but some of the backgrounds don't cost that much. If you look at the picture on the right I circled some of the backgrounds underneath 350 SC and there where already two on only one page. Now its not that hard to get 350 starcoins. If you go pet rooming it will take you a matter of minutes ( Scroll down to the end of the page and there is a list of the best pet rooms ).

♥︎Tip Number .2.
Music , Music , Music. Music is the very most important thing in a movie weather its in real life or if its in a little MSP animation music sets the tone , yet so many people forget to add music to their movies. Like I am sitting here watching a fight scene while the default MSP music is playing and I really just loose the hype of whats going on in the movie. You need to choose music that sets the feel for the storyline plus the music is only two hundred starcoins.

♥︎Tip Number .3.
This is yet another thing that is so obvious yet people seem to disregard it ( I have even seen highscores forget about this ) but FACIAL EXPRESSION. Facial expression is so important. I don't want to watch a scene about "Timmys Girlfriends dying" if "Timmy" does not show any emotion.

Another thing that really brings life to your movie is if the characters change emotions throughout the frames. It really shows depth in the character and can really effect how the viewer ...well...views the scene.

♥︎Tip Number .4.
This is my top but final tip. The tip is to skip a frame before the next character speaks. It takes two frames for one bubble of text to finish and it gets on peoples nerves when the text is going to fast and every character is speaking at one time and you really loose the storyline. This is the tip I stress the most.

*If you a bit confused basically if you character speaks on "Frame 4" you will want your other character to speak on "Frame 6".

Words can not describe how much I
love this dress. Its pretty original and
I have not seen another dress like it on MSP
before. A lot of the time with themes I
feel like MSP repeats itslef but this is proof
that MSP is still hard at work coming up
with new ideas.  My moviestar is currently
owning this dress xD. 

♥Stylist Everyday ♥
Why I Like This : I feel like MSP does not
have enough bun/top knot hairstyles. This
is not my all time favourite hairstyle but I
think it really accurately resembles the
look Kendal Jenner rocked at the
american music awards.
